1. Open Services Menu.
2. Open Data Account.
3. Open GPRS.
4. Create or Edit Data Account and enter the following values:

Save the Data Account.
Configuring N99i WAP/GPRS/Internet Services Using the Data Accounts Created
1. Open Services Menu.
2. Open WAP.
3. Open Settings.
4. Open Edit Profile.
5. Create/Edit a Profile and enter the following values:
Globe GPRS Profile for N99i
Rename Profile: myGlobe GPRS
Homepage: http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp
Data Account: GlobeGPRS (this data account is the one you have created)
Connection Type: HTTP
Proxy Address: 203.177.042.214
Proxy Port: 8080

Password:
Smart GPRS Profile for N99i
Rename Profile: SmartGPRS
Homepage: http://wap.smart.com.ph
Data Account: SmartGPRS (this data account is the one you have created)

6. Save the Profile.
7. Activate the Profile.
8. WAP/GPRS/Internet services now ready to use. In case you encounter errors, double check the Data Account and Profile created. In some cases you need to restart the phone.

1. Open Messages.
2. Open MMS.
3. Open Message Settings.
4. Open Server Profile.
5. Create/Edit a Profile and enter the following values:

Rename Profile: GlobeMMS
Homepage: http://192.40.100.22:10021/mmsc
Data Account: GlobeMMS (this data account is the one you have created)
Connection Type: HTTP
Proxy Address: 192.040.100.020

Yan nilagyan ko na ng picture. tagal na nga yan kaya mas mura na ngayon yan may mas mga bago na ata at improved models. Maganda at marami din naman siya features lalo na yung dual sim basta wag mo lang ibabagsak hahahaha

are you a postpaid subscriber? I tried this using Smart prepaid account, and maybe you need to insert one sim card first. Sometimes switching from one sim card to another also have conflicts.
Once you’ve set up a ‘data account’ (menu/services) you then need to tell WAP and MMS to use that account, instead of the default one.

Please I need to download some videos in my mobile N991 China TV but some errors occured during playing. Its invalid format. I used mp4 and 3gp format. How to open some videos and what are the format I am going to use. ?

I use mp4 format with mpeg4 as video codec, 176×144 frame size, 128 video bitrate, 15 video framerate. Try using Any Video Converter software it is free! It can also download online video from youtube, google video, metacafe and nicovideo.

hindi ko pa natry sa blackberry 9800 wala kasi ko ganyan unit e, pero kung matatry mo ilagay yung same setting possible na gumana din, kadalasan kasi kahit na iba model basta same ip at settings nagwowork naman e

ang alam ko kac sa smart pra my magka internet connecetion ka you to to text SET space model of the cellphone.and do that do that procedure but as i send it to 211 nothings reply.kailangan bang gaya ng nasa taas ang process pra my connection na. nagtry na din ako sa website ng smart. and i save all the data but it dosnt work.

ang nasa akin na phone ang kasama ng GPRS ay GSM ano ang ga2win ko d2 sa GSM. iba ba ung setings sa MMS na nasa messages banda at MMS na gaya nung nasa una na procedure.kac angdi ko mahanap ang MMS na settings na gaya ng nasa unang procedure. ung sa message lang banda ang naha2na ko.
ung sa huli na procedure dapat ang account na mahanap nya is SmartMMS kaso ang madetect lng nya ay ung SmartGPRS.
