Floppy disk invented by IBM have now been largely superseded by flash drive these days as more PCs are removing the floppy drive support on their computer packages and now switching to a more reliable USB media devices. To mention some pros in using USB flash disk instead of the old floppy disk are:

1. Capacity – USB flash drives have larger storage (ranging from 64 MB to 256 GB or more) space than the 1.44MB FDD.
2. Speed – USB drives operates faster by reading up to 30mb per second and write about half of its reading speed.
3. Durability – USB devices are designed for multiple cycles of insertion and removal between the USB device and plug.

Verizon Samsung Rogue Out in the market

Just a quick update about the latest Samsung Rogue. Another addition to my wish list. From Verizon Wireless comes with 3.1 inch AMOLED display touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels, one touch widgets, full HTML browsing and sliding QWERTY keyboard which makes Samsung Rogue good for email and messaging, social bookmarking and web browsing.

Facebook fan check virus | Fancheck virus | Fan check facebook virus

Facebook is so popular today because of its built in applications. If you’re a Facebook user I am sure you are familiar with its addictive games, built in messaging system, photo uploading capabilities, video sharing and the list goes on. But are you aware that there are viruses lurking out there for a new victim!

We can all agree as a Facebook user that it has almost all the cool things we could possibly ask for a social website but not including viruses. Social website Viruses can compromise our privacy and sensitive information without knowing. It not just Facebook that is the target of this malicious worms or applications but other social websites as well. Koobface (Anagram for “Facebook”) worm virus which appeared in August 2008 found its way into the Facebook and began causing havoc across the network. It targets the users of the social networking websites Facebook, MySpace, hi5, Bebo, Friendster and Twitter.

Facebook Tracker | Facebook Logger

Facebook has been one of several websites I regularly visit for some time now. Actually, I was registered in Facebook way before my friends started inviting me. Before, I really didn’t take Facebook seriously because I don’t want to track a lot of social bookmarking websites and I know I can’t monitor all of them. Anyway, most of my friends are moving to Facebook so I followed them so we could still have some communication despite our busy lives.

Unexplained Phenomenon Owned by Google

It’s now past midnight and I can’t sleep. I just can’t explain what happened. Earlier I was so sleepy, I even fell asleep while watching TV. Sigh! So I just thought to myself why not just surf the internet and maybe find something to post for this blog. Then I found out that there was unexplained phenomenon going on Google. So I took some time to investigate what the fuss is all about. I search “Unexplained Phenomenon” then I saw some interesting doodle on Google homepage showing a logo with UFO which seem to abduct the second letter O of the word Google.
