New Facebook Dislike Button Feature a Scam

Facebook is now facing a new scam and it is spreading like wildfire! The Facebook DISLIKE button is not legitimate feature! I repeat it has nothing to do with legitimate features and application of Facebook. On some profiles either tricked or scammed by this “new feature” you will notice that the standard “Share” option was replaced with “Enable Dislike Button” link. Please be advised that clicking this option is discouraged. If you do this it runs an obfuscated JavaScript, opening the potential for even more trouble.

Add Barcode to PDF Pages Using iTextSharp and VB.NET

I was tasked to convert any documents to PDF and add user generated barcode in each page. Using iTextsharp.dll, I finally managed to place barcodes along the top left side of the target PDF pages.

Using iTextsharp.dll to manipulate an existing PDF file and a procedure of adding watermark images that I found while searching the web. I combined the two and I came up with this.

Facebook number status! Facebook numbers game!

After the global trend of changing Facebook profile pictures to cartoon characters. A new trend has emerged and large umbers of Facebook users are following the new viral game.

You will probably notice that some of your Facebook contacts and friends status have numbers on it. They call it “Facebook Number Game”. Reports say that it came through a grassroots effort; women were posting the color of their bras on Facebook in order to raise awareness for breast cancer.

Change your Facebook Profile Picture to a Cartoon

“Change your Facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until Monday (December 6) there should be no human faces on Facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is for violence against children.”

I receive this message from a friend and he told me that I should try to change my Facebook Profile picture to a cartoon character. Why not if this is for a good cause especially for children. I have two kids and I really love them if this simple changing for Facebook Profile Picture can make a difference for their future, I will gladly oblige. :)
